I grew up in Buffalo, New York, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tufts University. After graduation I moved to California and ultimately chose to attend medical school at UC Davis where I also completed my specialty training. At Davis I had the good fortune to be elected to the Medical Honor Society and was awarded the Palthe Scholarship for Excellence in Psychiatry. During my specialty training I received the UC Davis Senior Resident Clinical Excellence Award and the UC Davis Psychiatry Research Award.
In my early years as a Psychiatrist, while a mother of young children, I worked in a residential treatment facility for adolescents and as a consulting psychiatrist at the Veterans Home in Yountville. I later had the pleasure to collaborate with a diverse and dedicated group of community members to establish the Wolfe Center where I served as Psychiatrist and Medical Director and as a Psychiatrist with Aldea Children and Family Services. During that time I was honored with the Napa County Child Abuse Prevention Council Blue Ribbon Award.
Having my own practice has been a lifelong dream, truly since I was a child. For years I juggled my own practice with my community clinic roles. When the demands of both required more hours in a week than possible, I decided to devote myself full-time to my private practice. In my own practice I am now able to integrate my years of experience in caring for my patients. From children to older adults, I enjoy every aspect of my practice and am committed to providing the highest quality care.
